Cooperation with the Professional Community (CPC)
Throughout the state of North Carolina, members of local CPC committees provide information and support to those who have contact with alcoholics through their profession. These include health care professionals, educators, social workers, employers, human resource departments, employee assistance providers and faith leaders.
Area 51 has a CPC Coordinator who serves a two-year term. Their purpose is to work with local districts and Intergroups across North Carolina to support cooperation with professionals. They are a resource for you. If you are an A.A. member and would like to find out more information about joining a local committee or reaching out to professionals in your community, please contact cpc@aanorthcarolina.org. We look forward to hearing from you so that we can more effectively serve the sick and suffering alcoholics in NC.
If you are a professional, we’d like to work with you. Please visit our For Professionals page.
